Welcome to the new Signia brand from Hilton, a brand specifically focused on hotels for meetings and events. The first hotel will open in Orlando in 18 months with many scheduled to follow. Based on a 2018 Attendee ROI study, this report highlights how the value proposition for attendees can vary or remain consistent by gender. One aspect that we recently dove into on a #expochat was around how more women place importance on the chance to get inspired/motivated/recharged at exhibitions. We talked about how programming could meet these preferences.

LinkedIn Live Streaming Service
A lot of event professionals are using Facebook Live at their events - now LinkedIn is stepping into the game with a similar service. What's unique, and could have more application to events, is that the LinkedIn platform is inherently more targeted toward professional users to start with so this could be a good fit in the meeting space.
