    MeetingPlay Mobile Event App 2017 Year In Review

    December really is the most wonderful time of the year. There’s a magical buzz in the air and we can take in all the excitement of the holiday by spending time with our families. For me, December is a month to prepare for the following year, as well as a time to reflect on the year behind us. Last year, in my 2016 review, I made some predictions on what 2017 would hold for us. What I didn’t realize is that we would far exceed all my expectations! The growth of MeetingPlay in 2017 continued to revolve around our core values as a company: our people, our customers, and providing the best products on the market.

    Here is my formal review of 2017:

    We, again, led in Premium Event Mobile Technology.
    The first piece of advice I always give our customers is not to use technology for technology’s sake. Of course, it’s cool to say that you used Augmented Reality at your event, but at the end of the day, if that technology doesn’t reinforce the goals of your meeting, you are wasting time and money. 2017 was a year of hot buzz words like AR, VR, and Chatbots, not just in the event space, but in technology overall. Our Generation 4 platform that launched in Q4 is the perfect example of how MeetingPlay uses technology to compliment the goals of the meeting – not just for the sake of technology.

    We invested and grew our family.
    In my toast at our annual holiday party last week, I mentioned that working with our team is the reason I’m excited to go into the office every day. The energy from our team is what our customers feel every day when they speak to our account managers and travel directors about executing their meetings. One of my biggest priorities in 2017 was to grow our team but maintain that energy and buzz.

    In 2017 we grew our workforce by 100%, and we did so with some of the most experienced event and technology professionals in the industry. It’s not just their experience and technological acumen; it’s their dedication to the company, our clients, and successful events. The team is the face of MeetingPlay, and I can’t be prouder of what we have accomplished this year. Our customer survey results have never been higher, and our customers continue to grow their business with us.

    We enhanced and expanded our customer base.
    2017 was a breakout year in terms of our customer growth. Almost all of our 2016 customers continued their partnership with MeetingPlay in 2017 while also growing our relationship. 2017 also represents the biggest growth in new customers in the history of the company. The world’s largest companies continue to see how MeetingPlay’s technology can help accomplish their meetings goals like no other.

    In Conclusion
    As we look forward to 2018 and reflect on our success in 2017, we have to think, can we do it again? Can we do it better? Today I am more confident than ever about the future. Why? MeetingPlay has found the perfect recipe of people, product, and premier customers. Our goals have never been bigger and more attainable than they are for 2018, and I am excited to work with everyone at MeetingPlay, and all of you, to exceed all those goals – again!
